Our Meetings
A typical meeting involves 3 or 4 prepared speeches presented by members. We also have an impromptu session called "Table Topics" where members answer a topic and speak for 1 or 2 minutes on a subject which they have not prepared for.
Each speech and table topic is evaluated by another member of the club who will give you supportive comments on the strong points of a speech and give feedback on how you might improve aspects of the speech. We encourage guests to come along for one or more meetings to see if they would like to join our club. There is no charge for this.

Hybrid meeting showing combined in person and online options.
How does it work?
After you join, you present the first speech - called the icebreaker speech.
The other speeches you give will be based upon the projects in the Toastmasters Pathways Program. There are 11 unique paths to choose between that have specific speech projects that cover different speaking skills. All speeches have a specific objective towards increasing your proficiency in your area of interest. Aspects of your speech that will be reviewed include organising your speech, using gestures and voice variation. The choice of topic and how often you provide a speech is up to you.
